  • I wrote a sales page and 7 emails to promote a novel writing course. My client only sent 2 emails. Then the course sold out.

  • I wrote a sales page for a guy who flips stuff from thrift stores. The program sold out in 24 hours.

  • I took over email marketing for a DTC brand called Nose Slap. Then their email revenue shot up like a weed. (I literally did 400% better than their previous month.)

  • I wrote 2 sales letters and 20-ish emails for a course launch to sell a program to pass a physical therapy exam. The launch made $300,000 (which was my client's best launch ever.)

Once upon a time, I was a door-to-door salesman. If you're asking "why is that important", well, door-to-door sales is kinda like buyer psychology bootcamp.

 

You talk to people for 10 hours a day, watching the wheels in their head spin. And you learn what makes them tick. There's no better way to learn how to sell stuff.

 

Once I decided I’d had enough of people slamming doors in my face, I took all the sales secrets I learned and used them to write marketing copy.
